Beer Tours and Boats

I spent the last week in beautiful sunny Christina Lake, with the BF.  We had a fantastic time, filled with golf and sun and reading and just plain relaxing (and drinking, lots of drinking). 

But first we had to find our way there.....

We left at some ridiculously early hour in the morning because we wanted to time our trip properly so that we could hit up the VERY FIRST beer tour of the day at the KOKANEE factory.  Because we are super classy and like to drink before noon.

As we all know, Kokanee is super famous because they are constantly trying to track down the infamous Sasquatch who, of course, loves Kokanee beer. 

After the tour we made sure to get our drink on....

And then we hit the road.  And immediately got lost.  Apparently thats what morning drinking does to you.

This is BF at the ferry boat crossing.  It was only 5 minutes before this that we realized that we were even lost.  We totally thought we were going the right way and that we are super awesome navigators. But apparently NORTH is not the same as WEST (who knew?) and we were stuck at a dead end with no where to go but across a lake.

At this point we thought we had hit our all time low.  We couldn't believe we were so lost and that we had managed to go so far out of the way.  We were stuck in the most gigantic ferry line ever and we probably weren't even going to make it on the boat.  We had no idea when the next boat was even going to show up.

But then our luck turned around!!!!!

In the end going the wrong way to the cabin was worth it.  BF's number one thing to accomplish on our vacation was to GO ON A BOAT!! We managed to pull it off even before we got out to Christina Lake! Which means we are Fantastic.
