I thought I would quote the book I'm about to start reading. Elantris by Brandon Sanderson, his very first novel.
"To live is to have worries and uncertainties. Keep them inside, and they will destroy you for certain -- leaving behind a person so calloused that emotion can find no root in his heart."
I decided to read Brandon Sanderson for a couple of reasons. He has been recommended to me more than once and most importantly, he was chosen to complete one of my favorite series (The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan).
Hopefully he doesn't let me down. I have high hopes for this book.
